Evo Electric Plug-in Hybrid London Black Taxi Cab

EVO Electric Ltd is a famous developer as well as manufacturer of motors, hybrid drive trains as well as some hybrid plug-ins. In recent years, it successfully used the DuoDrive taxi (or London Black Taxi Cab) to demonstrate the improvement in fuel economy using the plug-in hybrid system.

Water Hybrid Car Technology
Boost mileage 30% - 60%, reduce emissions, greenhouse gases and global warming.

Hydrogen on Demand Kit
Use this kit to convert your car to burn hydrogen and save gasoline & the environment.

Electric Car Conversion Plans
Stick It to the Oil Companies and Convert Your Car to an EV, Quickly, Easily and Cheaply!

This product is one of the products of EVO's DuoDrive hybrid system. This system can enable vehicles, including taxis and other types of cars, to run using less gasoline or diesel fuel.

Traditional radial flux motors cannot provide a high efficiency of energy transfer due to the restrictions from the design. Therefore, the innovative axial flux motor can make use of the disc-like rotor and stator to give a higher efficiency of energy transfer.

Evo Electric has successfully created a power density of 5kW/kg. This is a breakthrough in the market and it is regarded as one of the greatest helps to the world in the future in order to save the Earth from pollutions.

The DuoDrive system can be applied to different vehicles as long as the installation is finished. The gearbox can be replaced by a generator and this will be connected to the rear side of the engine. The electric motor can be connected to the rear wheel to generate environmental friendly energy. With this system, the taxi can be operated in different modes.

First of all, the Evo Electric Plug-in Hybrid Black Taxi Cab can become an electric vehicle when it is in urban areas. For longer distances, the Evo black taxi will operate in the hybrid mode using both plug-in electric batteries and diesel engine for power.

On highways, safety is most important, so the taxi will run primarily in diesel mode so that there will not be a lack of energy. The engine running in diesel will directly be connected to the wheels and the electric motor from EVO will supply extra power in case it is necessary.

The generator of the EVO can be used to recharge the batteries. In recent years, the whole world is seeking solutions to address pollution problems. EVO foresees the trend in the future and they work hard to produce environmental friendly motor systems so that users can enjoy plug-in power to reduce emissions and let the technology do the environmental work for them (no need to go around planting trees when your car does the equivalent).

But EVO is not just satisfied with its present achievements. Evo Electric will be working hard to develop the DuoDrive TX4 system and hope to increase the mileage of the Li-ion battery pack. But, you'll just have to show a little patience before this hits the showrooms.
